Blending Rustic with Modern

In collaboration with Snohomish County Parks, Recreation & Tourism, this new masterplan for the Evergreen State Fairgrounds is aimed at addressing its immediate needs, as well as planning for its future expansion and development.

Throughout its phased implementation, this project will update buildings in need of replacement, preserve historic buildings, accommodate fair functions, and make space for new community amenities, all in a thoughtfully-designed, park-like setting.  With vehicular traffic safely limited to the site perimeter, the updated plan is able to organize fair functions along a generous, shaded pedestrian boulevard, culminating in a plaza and modern community center for residents of Monroe.
