Our team of architects facilitates a creative and integrative design process that unites diverse needs and ideas.
We bring design criteria, opportunities, and requirements to the table early in the process. We foster a team approach that develops strong relationships between client, users, regulatory agencies, and the consultant team.
ARC understands the importance of the public process to make sure the ideas of all stakeholders are considered. We know that each project’s success depends on a broad range of input and communication.

DAN grew up in rural Pennsylvania surrounded by corn, cows, and a compassion for the environment and people. His agrarian roots nourished his small-town attitude towards his neighbors and many of his childhood memories include exploring “cricks” to find hidden salamanders, going to the lake in search of the perfect skipping stone, and fishing. Dan’s interest in architecture began in high school after a mechanical drafting program morphed into an independent architectural studies class. In college, architecture became his only creative outlet and he was exposed to a world of studying and traveling in Europe. Dan’s travels led him to Seattle where the Evergreen State complemented his passion for the environment. Early years at a large practice formed his vision of architecture that is regional and responsive to the communities we serve - corn and cows are Dan’s simple reminder to think globally but act locally and that architecture can only be as good as its worst example.

MARTHA joined ARC in February 2020. She was born in the Midwest and lived in Buffalo, NY as a child before moving to Washington. Martha learned to appreciate music and dance at an early age as both of her parents were avid music collectors. The sense of community and inclusiveness she experienced from taking dance classes and attending live performances of all kinds as a young person shaped her appreciation for spaces that bring people together. Although her childhood dream was to become an artist, her passion for numbers ultimately guided her to accounting. She has been supporting architecture firms for over 15 years and was drawn to ARC for its thoughtful designs of community environments. When she is not working, she likes to explore the parks, trails, and beaches of the Pacific Northwest and spend time with her son, Justin, and chiweenie, Rodney.
